FAQ

Questionsowners ask.

What is RayQuote?

RayQuote is AI photo quoting software for home service businesses. Your customers send a few photos through your own link, the AI measures the job, your own price list works out a flat-rate price, and you approve it and text it from your phone. Most jobs never need a site visit.

How can I give quotes without driving out to the job?

Send customers your RayQuote photo link (or put the QR code on your truck and flyers). They pick the service and snap a few photos, RayQuote measures the job from the photos, and you get a priced quote to approve in about a minute.

How much does RayQuote cost?

Solo is $49/month (1 trade, 50 photo quotes), Pro is $99/month (up to 5 trades, 200 quotes) and Crew is $199/month (every trade, 600 quotes). Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, with no contract.

How accurate is it?

It measures from what it can see and always gives a range, not a guess dressed up as certain. Clear photos with something of known size (a door, a car, a garage door) get tight ranges. When it isn't sure, it says so, and you set the final price before anything is sent.

Does the AI decide my prices?

No. The AI only measures. Your own price list (per square foot, per foot of gutter, per trailer load, per window) does the math, and every step is shown on the quote.

What do my customers need?

Just their phone. They open your link or scan your QR code, pick the service, take a few photos and leave their number. No app, no account.

What trades does it work for?

29 trades and counting: cleaning (pressure washing, windows, gutters, house and carpet cleaning), outdoor work (lawn, yard, trees, fencing, decks, landscaping), hauling and building (junk removal, demolition, moving, concrete), painting and finishes, and repairs and trades (handyman, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, garage doors).

Can it really quote plumbing or electrical from photos?

For standard jobs, yes: a faucet swap, a ceiling fan, a water heater, a few outlets. You set a flat price per task plus your service call fee. When something can't be priced safely from photos (a hidden leak, a panel problem), it says so and flags the job for a visit instead of guessing.

Who sees the photos?

Only you. Customer photos and contact details are private to your business, never sold or shared.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, cancel any time. Early-access businesses get founding pricing locked in.
